(A) Nag. Nag, nag. Write another post.

(B) I heard that there was a large group of people who had regathered on the mall a week later since they weren't let in at the time... watching the inauguration on their iPods. Inspiring...

(C) THANK you, Ken. So many people do not understand the proper use of punctuation with quotation marks.

Welcome back! And I'm more than willing to nag at any time.

The question mark goes outside the quotes, by the way, unless it's part of the quotation. Examples:

I asked, "Want a cookie?" vs. Did you say, "Yes"?

I think you have a point ... the obsession with this inauguration is a bit over the top. I'm not sure what to make of it ... I do know that with a huge recession, massive deficits, and so many other problems, this is not the time to be having another record-breaking inauguration ceremony.

In Nelson Mandela's case, it really marked a complete change in the country. Apartheid was still the law up until then, and so it was a different kind of thing.

Yeah, I find myself thinking that it's a great time for Jesus to come back, too.

I promise to back off ... for a while. Bwa-ha-ha ...

I like Mike. But his views on taxation is not practical. consumption tax is a bad idea. A CEO will not consume more detergent than a janitor. The idea of eliminating IRS is not very conservative. It is radical and stupid at best. He should have proposed more intelligent alternatives. Let us keep IRS. Aim for lower taxes but fair.

Thanks for your transparent thoughts and openness. It's refreshing to know we share a common struggle to find intimacy with our Creator.

Blessings.

I know what you mean ... it's one thing to understand on an intellectual level what grace is and what it means to be forgiven, but then there's life ... and it's so distracting.

You're not alone in this one, at least ...

YES!

I love Mike Huckabee! I heard him talking a few months ago about being consistent with our beliefs and such ... he immediately got my endorsement. He's being ignored because he's not one of the "front-runners" (perhaps because he's being ignored? ... sigh ...), but I think that more Christians need to take a serious look at him.
