OK – I’m Canadian by birth so I can say “eh” ok? Feeling the need to start this again. I see so many who use this platform for random thought, deep discussion, self-promotion, and on and on…
So what’s on my mind today… Work, God’s leading for my life, kids
Work – I really enjoy my job, the company (PixelMEDIA) is growing and the future plan looks exciting! Been here coming up on 12 years now and so I wonder am I still following God’s plan for my life… then again what believer doesn’t ask themselves that very question. I recently downloaded Michael Hyatts “Creating Your Personal Life Plan” still haven’t done anything with it but I am hoping that in looking at my life more closely God will reveal the next (if there is one right now) thing.
God’s leading for my life – kind of addressed that above – the two are pretty closely related no?
Kids – you know this one has me twisted up – Miss the ones that are grown (in a big way), don’t know how to connect with the adolescent onesĀ and really feeling lost on how to lead. Maybe I just need to love, not lead….
If you have little ones – spend every moment you can with them – no matter how much time you give them now, later you will feel it wasn’t enough, BUT you will have fewer regrets. NOTHING is more important than spending time with your kids while you can. I suspect there are some who would say, my time with Christ is more important – maybe, but not if you’re filling up your time with countless “good” things – chasing this ministry and that event.
Off to Atlanta – looking forward a bit of warmth – if only for a day.
Read this today – have to remind myself of this daily it seems
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
Romans 12:9-14
